Muriel Dishel, Founding President, New York City Chapter, AALNC

Muriel Dischel boasts over thirty years tenure as a registered nurse, with formal education and practical experiences that span general medical-surgical to gerontological nursing, pediatric oncology, critical care, and post anesthesia care. With concentration and interest in non-traditional nursing roles, Muriel spent several years in utilization review and various other managed care venues--healthcare cost management, managed care sales and client services, and computer technology. Muriel has extensive business experience, skills, education and training. Muriel is an author, a columnist for a national legal nurse consulting resource publication, and she is Founder, President and CEO of Brooklyn-based EmDee Consultants, Inc., a Legal Nurse Consulting firm.
