American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants
(AALNC)
Founded in 1989, our parent
organization, the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants
(AALNC) is a not for profit membership organization dedicated to the
professional enrichment and growth of registered nurses practicing
in the specialty area of legal nurse consulting and committed to the
advancement of this nursing specialty. The AALNC is also the paramount
resource for professionals who are interested in legal nurse consulting
and are supportive of the organization's goals. The AALNC provides
networking opportunities, educational advancement, professional development
and supports certification through the American Legal Nurse Consultant
Certification Board (ALNCCB).
Our Mission
The New York City Chapter of the American Association of Legal
Nurse Consultants is committed to providing a network of
collegial resources, information and ongoing education and
outreach to promote the advancement and professional growth of
legal nurse consultants throughout New York City's five
boroughs, the surrounding New York communities, and beyond.
Our Vision
Mirroring the objectives of our parent organization, The New
York City Chapter aspires to create opportunities and
experiences that will augment the professional growth and
development of legal nurse consultants, encourage excellence in
the profession by upholding the AALNC Standards of Practice and
Code of Ethics and Conduct, guidelines for professional
performance and behavior, and work energetically to bolster the
New York legal and medical community's knowledge and awareness
of the profession of legal nurse consulting.
